(How To Be A) Millionaire/ Tower Of London by ABC
Label: colored vinyl Mercury 884382 Year: 1986
Picture sleeve included: M-
Condition: M $10.00
(How To Be A) Millionaire/ Tower Of LondonThis is a new, unplayed promo copy, in its original picture sleeve. Here's a rare 1980s U.S. promo 45 that actually has two different songs on it! By the 1970s, most U.S. promo 45s had standardized on providing only one song, perhaps in Stereo/Mono mixes or different edited versions. By the 1980s, more commonly promo 45s provided just the same Stereo version on both sides. So this one is noteworthy, suggesting the record company or band hoped both songs would/could take hold on the radio. That didn't happen, though the B side certainly is a worthy adversary for its A side rival. This single is pressed on translucent black vinyl. Note: This copy has pristine labels, and the audio is also Mint. However, the vinyl grade is Near Mint to reflect some very light storage wear.
