This huge hit from 1961 became Benton's highest-charting Ppop record. It's a somewhat humorous re-telling of a Southern folk song. Comes with a beautiful picture sleeve that sports an especially fine photo of the singer (smoking a cigarette, natch). Note: This copy has almost-Mint labels and vinyl, and pristine Mint sound. The picture sleeve is nearly flawless but has 'F5" inked on the singer's forehead. (This scan is a representative image from our archives; it doesn't show the writing.)
