Doin' The Flake (EP) by Gary Lewis and the Playboys
Label: Liberty 227 Year: 1965
Picture sleeve included: M-
Condition: M- $30.00
Doin' The Flake (EP)From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed copy, in its original picture sleeve. This single was a promotional release in conjunction with Kellogg's Corn Flakes... the back of the picture sleeve has text and pictures for various ways of "Doin' The Flake." Quite amusing today. The EP has two songs on the flip... the group's big hit "This Diamond Ring," and "Little Miss Go-Go," which was one of the group's B sides. Note: This copy has pristine Mint labels. The vinyl looks Mint at first glance, but unfortunately a small scratch at the beginning of the A side lowers the grade to Near Mint. The audio is likewise pristine Mint but for a handful of light "pops" at the beginning of "Doin' The Flake." Audio on the B side is Mint. The picture sleeve is a beautiful Near Mint.
