(C45s)You Showed Me/ Buzz Saw by The Turtles

Label: White Whale 292 Year: 1969
Picture sleeve included: M- (sst)
Condition: M- $40.00
You Showed Me/ Buzz SawWritten and recorded by the Byrds in 1964, this great version gave The Turtles a top 10 hit in early 1969. As it turned out, this was to be the group's last foray into the Top 40. It comes with an awesome picture sleeve, with two great photos of the band... one with "fig leafs" (see scan). Note: The 45 itself Mint labels, and the vinyl (styrene) looks only lightly touched. The audio grades Near Mint overall, but I think I heard a bit of "static" in one channel in spots. The picture sleeve is bright and shiny with almost no ringwear and only a small original retail price sticker on the back to note. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
