All Shook Up / (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear

This is a like-new copy of one of the singles in the 1984 box set "Elvis' Greatest Hits: Golden Singles Vol. 1," in its original picture sleeve. These reissues, pressed on clear gold vinyl for Elvis' 50th Anniversary, are highly unusual for RCA in their handling of Elvis' singles catalog, because each 45 pairs the A sides of different Elvis singles, rather than containing the original A/B sides for each single. This means each 45 in the sets (there were two volumes, 6 45s in each) is particularly rich in Elvis greatness. :-) Fortunately, these are the original Mono mixes. \r\n

When I had my deejay stint on Jitterbug night, this was one of the dancers' very favorite tracks. Not too fast (like many rock'n'roll hits), not too slow: Just right for all the smoothest moves! Also remains one of my favorite of Presley's early hits. Listening again to the flip side is a stunning reminder of just how much raw, effortless-sounding vocal talent this young man brought to pop music.\r\n
