This single was released to support the 1972 release of the album "Simon & Garfunkel's Greatest Hits." Both tracks are from the album. Though "America" was the plug side, it was the equally wonderful live recording of "For Emily" that charted first and climbed higher on the Bilozoard Hot 100. "America" comes from the duo's 1968 Bookends album. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
