Badlands/ Streets Of Fire

Both of these tracks are from Springsteen's monumental album Darkness On The Edge Of Town, which followed Born To Run. That the anthemic "Badlands" failed to even crack the Top 40 says something pretty bad about the taste of radio station programmers in the mid-1970s. :-) From here, it would another 2 years before Springsteen finally cracked the Top 10 with "Hungry Heart." Note: This copy comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. Aside from one or two faint bits of surface noise right at the beginning, the A side audio is pristine Mint.
