Here's a beautiful copy of this U.K. Glam-Rock classic  one of only a few to become hits on this side of the ocean. "Rock and Roll Pt. 2" by Gary Glitter is another in that small group. If you count David Bowie, the field is broader, but Bowie was much more than a one-genre artist, and none of his Glam singles were big hits here. For some reason, the genre simply didn't translate in the U.S. as more than a few interesting novelty rockers. Still, one listen and you gotta understand why Dave Marsh thinks this single is one of the 1,001 best ever! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Reprise Records factory sleeve. It has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
