This was The Hollies first U.S. Top 10 hit. It's also definitely one of the most desirable tunes in The Hollies' catalog. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Imperial Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels and, despite a somewhat-scuffed-looking vinyl surface, very nearly Mint sound.
As an interesting point of trivia, this important British band  like The Who  failed to make a big splash on this side of the Atlantic in The Beatles' wake. While "Bus Stop" was the group's first U.S. Top 10 hit, they had already scored 11 Top 40 hits in the U.K., eight of which reached the U.K. Top 10! Here, only one of their previous singles  "Look Through Any Window"  had cracked the U.S. Top 40.
