Probably contrary to his own best judgment, Williams recorded this terrific Pomus-Shuman number with an actually modern, girl-group-type ballad arrangement. Makes for quite decent listening after all these years. The B side is another Williams classic. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a Near Mint picture sleeve. The 45 itself has Mint labels and pristine sound. The picture sleeve has a light touch of ringwear.
