This single features the most sublime sound of chiming guitars of the 1980s, following "September Gurls" by Big Star in 1970s and "Mr. Tambourine Man" (Byrds) and "Ticket To Ride" (Beatles) in the 1960s. With his note-perfect first album and great songwriting (produced by Richard Gottehrer, who served up so much great rock'n'roll froth in the 1960's with such acts as the Angels and McCoys), Crenshaw seemed like a new Buddy Holly. Note: The B side two great non-LP tracks: A live recording of 'Rave On' plus another Crenshaw tune, 'Somebody Like You.'
