Don't Destroy Me/ Boom Boom Baby

This was the singer's first chart single, and the only one from his early career that hit the charts. In the early 1970s he had some success recording as Billy "Crash" Craddock. This early single was credited to just Crash Craddock. The rocker "Boom Boom Baby" may have been the originally intended A side, but apparently airplay boosted the Elvis-styled ballad "Don't Destroy Me" instead. Note: The vinyl appears to have been washed with some detergent, causing discoloration. The A side audio is near mint, but the flip has some "crackle" that's audible at times; its audio rates a strong EX.
