The A side was originally released on Reprise 0572 as Hendrix's first U.S. single, with "51st Anniversary" on the flip. The B side originally appeared on the B side of "If 6 Was 9" in 1969. This reissue is one of the 10 singles released in 1998 as part of the Jimi Hendrix Classic Singles Collection box set, which features each 45 lovingly repressed on colored vinyl in a custom picture sleeve that has session details on the flip side. Both tracks were from Hendrix's classic LP Are You Experienced.
