From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. This single is an interesting case  as well as having great music! This is the first release of these tunes, which were re-released on Capitol in 1983, when "Rio" hit #14p in April. What's particularly interesting is that the two singles have two different mixes/edits of each song! The Harvest single has "Hold Back The Rain" in a shorter edit than the one here (and on the album), and the case for "Rio" was the reverse, with the single an edited version of the 5:33 album track. No matter... both songs represent the best of this U.K. group's early material. Note: This beautiful 45 has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
