This single is a must-have all the way around, including its dreamy, folky flip. This tune rounded out the duo's trio of top 10 hits that started their career, following "Sounds of Silence" and "Homeward Bound." Experiencing a small crush of pent-up product after "Sounds of Silence" went to #1, the followup to that smash came from the duo's second album (not excluding their earlier
Wednesday Morning folk LP),
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme. Shortly after, they went back to the
Sounds of Silence album to release this little gem. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. It has very nearly Mint labels. The vinyl (styrene) looks Near Mint at first but has some light scuffing, lowering its grade to a strong EX. The audio has a light touch of surface noise, plus a little styrene-related distortion, lowering the overall audio grade to EX.
