No, this group has absolutely no relationship to the soul vocal group who recorded on a number of different labels in the early 1970's and is most well-known for their hit "Sugar Pie Guy." This Joneses apparently predated the Joneses we all know about today, but information about their single seems to have been lost. It's too bad, because this is one helluva good sunshine pop single... both sides are well worth adding to your playlist!
