This group comprised many of the top session musicians in Philadelphia, some of which later went on to join MFSB, the house band for Philadelphia International. Which, by the way, appears to be a non-album cut, as it didn't appear on the group's only United Artists LP. Collector Nerd Alert: This is the first pressing on the pink/orange United Artists label. Second pressings are on the blue/pink label. (United Artists changed their label design while this tune was a hit.) Note: This beautiful copy has very nearly Mint labels, and the vinyl (styrene) looks only lightly touched. The grooves preserve pristine Mint sound... a real treat!
