Prestwood is one of country music's preeminent songwriters, having penned hits for Randy Travis, Trisha Yearwood, Shenandoah, Crystal Gayle, Collin Raye, Highway 101, Anne Murray, Kathy Mattea, ... shall I continue? Anyway, this is a very rare single, made 6 years before Judy Collins "discovered" him in 1978, of Prestwood singing two of his own early compositions. Great stuff on both sides! The tracks were recorded in Memphis at the Hi studios, and the label credits Karen Berke & The Medicine Band performing alongside Prestwood.
