Here's a beautiful reissue of Haley's first big hit, on the original catalog number. Haley's version contains many changes to the lyrics to make them "less offensive" to "white ears". This kind of censorship was common among white acts covering black artists and songs in the 1950s. This is a 1970s pressing. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Decca Records factory sleeve. It has pristine sound.
