Although the "B" side became the bigger hit, don't dare think the A side is a track to ignore! I love both sides and would never want to be forced to choose a favorite! The B side started getting airplay in August 1958 on Pop radio, where it eventually peaked at #3; still on Pop radio, the A side started getting played in September and eventually peaked at #27 after 13 weeks. On the Billboard RnB Singles chart, audiences began to take notice of Part II in October, and the track eventually went on to top that chart. This is a beautiful reissue on the Coral "Silver Star Series".
