This is a very nice copy of one of the group's most beloved singles. It's interesting to listen to this original pressing again — clearly, this is a different version from that you hear on reissues. It's not just that it's a Mono instead of Stereo mix... there are clear mastering differences as well. For example, the first guitar chord rings quite differently than on the reissues, and Diana's voice isn't drenched in echo as on the reissues. Note: This copy's Near Mint labels have a light touch of ringwear (too light to show up much in the scan). The vinyl has some light scuffing and grades a strong EX. The audio grades Near Mint, with the vinyl's light surface noise almost completely inaudible.
