You Can't Sit Down/ Stompin Everywhere

The Dovells had two smash, neo-doo-wop hits in the early 1960s ? this one, and "Bristol Stomp" from 1961. Both tunes are on the want list of every rock'n'roll fan who digs songs from the 1961-63 resurgence of doo-wop, and even some Northern Soul fans seek this one out for its sheer danceability. Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels with a small abrasion on the A side where a sticker was removed. The audio grades very close to Mint. (This scan is a representative image from our archives; it doesn't show the abrasion, which is in the area below the track time.)
