You Really Got Me/ It's All Right

Originally released on Reprise 0306. This is one of the seminal singles in the genesis of what became known as Garage Rock. Surprisingly (and disappointingly to fans of this and the group's next blockbuster, "All The Day And All Of The Night"), the group abandoned garage rock almost as soon as they had helped get it off the ground. Oh well, no problem. Just give me "You Really Got Me" any time you like! This is a rare copy of the late-1960s Reprise "Back to Back Hits" reissue that has the original B side as well. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Reprise Records factory sleeve. It looks (Labels, Vinyl) and sounds (Audio) almost new. The audio has one notable "pop" near the beginning but is otherwise pretty much free of surface noise.
