You Threw A Lucky Punch/ Rainbow

This single was released with "Lucky Punch" on the A side, an answer song to Mary Wells' hit "You Beat Me To The Punch." After a month or so, though, radio stations started playing "Rainbow," which became a much bigger hit. The A side credits background vocals to "Cal Carter And Friends." Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Vee Jay Records factory sleeve. The A side label is Mint; the B side is Near Mint, reflecting a bit of very light ringwear. The B side vinyl has very light surface noise that lowers the audio grade to EX+; the A side audio is Near Mint.
