This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the collection. These tracks were previously released in 1967 on the small Showtime and Party Time labels. The Showtime release "bubbled under" to #118 starting in May 1967. This 1968 Heritage release did better, but still not as well as it should have. When you consider the great uptempo B side of this party Soul classic, the tunes really should have drawn more attention at the time. Note: This beautiful promo copy's labels are nearly perfect, grading Mint (see scan). The vinyl exhibits faint signs of storage wear, grading Near Mint, but the grooves retain pristine Mint audio on both sides!
