Both sides of this single feature Bob Lind tunes, the A side having recently appeared on Lind's big hit "Elusive Butterfly." I've long been very fond of "Cheryl's" and was surprised Lind hadn't released it on an A side. Well, it turns out that the Cascades jumped on it right away and released their own version 3 months after "Butterfly" hit the charts. Great song, great version by a group with an especially good vocal harmony sound.
