Come On, Let Me Try/ I Don't Want To Be Loved (Not By Him)

This is a new, unplayed stock copy from the Louise Neal collection. This great uptempo number enters the Girl Group sound from doo-wop origins, with Linda singing lead in front of a black male vocal group. Note: All the Crackerjack releases Neal received have some scribbling on one of the labels, as does this one (see scan); the B side label is pristine. This 45 is among those in the Neal collection that sadly spent some of their life outside a protective sleeve. The 45s in this category typically have more noticeable storage wear (ringwear and scuffs/scratches), and the audio may not be pristine due to the imperfect grooves. In this case, the labels are Near Mint, reflecting only the little scribbling. The vinyl is very close to Mint, and the audio is also Near Mint.
