Creeque Alley/ Did You Ever Want To Cry

I'm beginning to think the problem with this record's audio reflects inferior vinyl used for the pressings. This copy comes from "new" old store stock and yet, like all the beautiful copies I've had over the years, the audio grades below Near Mint (I call it EX+) to reflect the light but persistent surface noise that's audible in the quieter parts of the tracks. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Dunhill Records factory sleeve. Its labels are pristine, and the vinyl grades a strong Near Mint to reflect faint storage wear. As noted, the audio grades a strong EX (your awareness of the surface noise fades as the song progresses).
