The A side was originally released on Reprise 0792 and became Hendrix's last chart single before his untimely death in 1970. The B side is the full 5:32 version from 1967's Axis: Bold As Love. It was also released in 1969 on Reprise 0853. from the LP Electric Ladyland. This reissue is one of the 10 singles released in 1998 as part of the Jimi Hendrix Classic Singles Collection box set, which features each 45 lovingly repressed on colored vinyl in a custom picture sleeve that has session details on the flip side.
