Originally released on Ascot 2157. This was the group's biggest hit, which revived an obscure Jeff Barry-Ellie Greenwich tune that had failed to get airplay earlier in the year for girl group The Exciters. (The Exciters version, titled simply Do-Wah-Diddy, reached only #78 when released in January of 1964.) This is a like-new copy of the gray-label United Artists Silver Spotlight reissue, in its Spotlight factory sleeve. It has powerful, pristine Mint sound.
