I'll Get By/ Superman Lover

This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the collection, in its original Liberty Records factory sleeve. This group released only 2 45s (no LPs), and this was the first one. According sources, both Doris Troy and Leon Huff were members of the group. This A side is a particularly fine doo-wop number from near the end of the genre's second golden age (the first golden age was in the mid-late 1950s). Note: This beautiful promo looks and sounds brand new. It has two notable flaws  The A side label has been stamped "Plug Side" with a star in red ink (see scan), lowering the Label grade to Near Mint. The vinyl looks untouched but has a mild, no-impact warp, also grading Near Mint. Fortunately, after a cleaning the grooves yield up pristine Mint audio!
