It's That Time Of The Year/ Happily Ever After

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed copy. This great Len Barry single should have been a Top 40 hit, but I think there was some confusion in the title (Is this a Christmas song? Why release it in June?), so it didn't get the play it deserved. (Spoiler alert: It's about the time of year for Love and Romance). Great tune and arrangement, as well as Barry's usual great vocals. The flip is a mid-tempo number that's completely different and also worth seeking out. By the way, this was a non-album single whose sides are not included on Barry's sole Decca LP. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Decca Records factory sleeve. It has pristine Mint labels, and the audio sounds pristine Mint (awesome!) as well.
