Judy's Turn To Cry/ Just Let Me Cry

This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the Louise Neal collection, in its original Mercury Records factory sleeve. Produced by a young Quincy Jones and masterfully arranged by Claus Ogermann, "Judy's Turn To Cry" is truly a masterpiece of Girl Group Rock! It's that rare sequel (in this case, to Gore's hit "It's My Party") that manages to equal or even exceed the original inspiration. It's got a great B side, too. This gorgeous Mint promo (much rarer than the promo for "It's My Party," by the way) comes with the original promotional letter from Morris Diamond of Diamond Discs (apparently a Mercury Records distributor) touting two discs they'd sent Louise Neal — this one and Mercury 72151 by the Clebanoff Strings. Note: This copy's audio is literally flawless — pristine Mint — on both sides. Though not flawless, I'm grading the labels and vinyl Mint as well, since they look brand new, with only insignificant flaws common to even the newest of 45s (a whisper of ringwear on the A side label, and an extremely slight warp that has no effect on playback or audio).
