Memphis Train/ My Chant

Credited to the 'Buddy Miles Express,' the A side, a terrific cover of the Rufus Thomas tune, was produced by Steve Cropper, while Jimi Hendrix does the honors on the flip. This was Miles' first chart record. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Mercury Records factory sleeve. The A label has light ringwear, grading a strong EX. The vinyl (styrene) has a few notable scuffs/abrasions on the A side, also grading a strong EX in appearance. The A side audio would grade Mint but for a touch of surface noise near the beginning and one or two light "pops" as the needle traverses an abrasion, so I'm calling the A side audio Near Mint.
