Money (That's What I Want)/ I'll Still Be Around

This is a new, unplayed stock copy from the Louise Neal 45 Collection. About a year after Barrett Strong hit with his version of the song, Richard "Popcorn" Wylie tried an even harder-rocking version, also produced by Berry Gordy, Jr., who co-wrote the song. This stock copy has been stamped as a promo; it's the variant that shows the Motown address on the label. Credited to Richard Wylie and "His Band." I'm not sure, but I think releases crediting his band as The Mohawks are re-pressings. Note: The A label has a red asterisk grease-penciled on it, and the B label has a grease-penciled, black "X". The vinyl and audio grade Near Mint.
