My Heart's Not In It Anymore (Babe, Babe, Babe) / You've Been Leadin' Me On

This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the collection, in its original Oliver Records factory sleeve. Two very rare and highly collectable sides... both top-notch Northern Soul dancers. On the strength of its B side, Kev Roberts includes this single at #493 in his list of the 500 greatest Northern Soul 45s. This is the original 1966 promotional pressing (apparently, look-alike reissues exist, but this is the real thing). Note: The labels on this new, unplayed promo would grade Mint, but the A side has a small red star lightly stamped on it. The vinyl looks new but has a mild warp that won't affect play unless your turntable tonearm is weighted too lightly. The audio grades Near Mint, reflecting some very light surface noise, mostly noticeable on the "My Heart" side. This single was sold through the Louise Neal Auctions page.
