My Mother's Eyes/ I'm Old Fashioned

This popular British pop band never made a dent in the U.K. market. It's tempting to call their sound Sunshine Pop, but wait til you hear the distorted fuzz guitar on the A side of this single! The flip is more traditional Sunshine Pop. By the way, I swear there's a Sister in the King Brothers somewhere... when she starts singing, the band assumes a kind of Mama's and Papa's sound. By the way, a second U.S. record company tried to break this song in 1968, when Bell released it on Bell 706.
