Somebody Nobody Wants/ Could Somebody Take My Place Tonight

Now here are a couple of Dion tunes you never hear on oldies radio... Most people didn't hear them when they came out, either, and the single never even cracked the Bilozoard Hot 100. After his highly successful run with the Belmonts, Dion's solo career actually took awhile to get off the ground. His first solo single, "Lonely Teenager," was a fairly big hit but never made the top 10, and the next 3 singles kept falling further down the chart--#42, then #82, and then this one, at #103. But his luck was soon to change when his record company teamed him up with a more compatible group of songwriters, and his very next single was the huge classic "Runaround Sue," which was immediately followed up with "The Wanderer." After that, he left behind such a great collection of classics that no one ever bothers with singles like this one. Still, if you hunger for more Dion, this one will definitely give you what you want... two sides of it, in fact!
