This is a beautiful Mint copy of one of the Drifters' most sought-after singles. It's rare for a copy like this to turn up for sale nowadays. Not only is this 45 hard to find, it has the distinction of having a different version of the song than the one you're used to: It's not the same lead vocal as on reissues and compilation albums. Unlike those, the original has a distinct variation in the vocal on the lines\r\n

Under the boardwalk,
Down by the sea,On a blanket with my baby's where I'll be.

The difference is apparent in the last two verses.

Note: This 45 record comes in a vintage Atlantic Records factory sleeve. The labels grade very close to Mint in appearance. The vinyl looks untouched, and the amazing audio is pristine Mint!
