Now, here's a unique item. This 45 comes from the collection of "Maureen", who typically lightly inked her name on the label and/or sleeve but who also apparently took good care of her 45s. This 45 comes in a Colgems factory sleeve, with an autographed message from "Davy" inked on it: "Dear Maureen, When you listen to this record - make believe it's your name and me singing it only to you. Davy -" I don't think this is an actual Davy Jones signature, because for one thing Jones usually spelled his name out as "David Jones" in signatures I've seen on eBay and elsewhere. However, it's a tantalizing and romantic memento. In other news about this 45, don't neglect the Mike Nesmith-penned flip, which actually reached the Top 40 of Bilozoard's Hot 100 Singles chart, while "Valleri" reached the Top 10. Note: The 45 itself grades Near Mint overall. The A label has "mp" inked in tiny print on the A side (see scan). The vinyl looks almost untouched, and the audio sounds pristine Mint.
