Originally released on Colossus 108. This is a new, unplayed Stereo/Stereo promo copy, in its original factory sleeve. This reissue was more of a re-release, as the record company released promotional copies like this one, which is accompanied by a printed card promoting Shocking Blue and their version of "Venus." The release was apparently a response to the big hit Bananarama had just had with their cover version of the song. The 1969 version was a #1 hit on the Bilozoard Hot 100 Singles chart, but despite the promotion, this 1986 re-release failed to get enough airplay and sales to make the chart. Still, it's special because it has a Stereo mix of the classic, original "Venus," whereas the Colossus release was in Mono. Note: One of the labels is mint; the other has light ringwear.
