(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher

I try very hard to keep this sublime, classic Soul single (which Dave Marsh pegs at #168 of the best 1,001 singles ever, and Rolling Stone ranks at #248 in its list of the Top 500 singles) in stock, but it's just so hard to find in this condition. This is the very rare promo release for Brunswick 55336, the catalog number for the stock copy. (The label reads "For Record No. 55336.") Despite what you might see in some price guides, as far as I can determine there was no other promo for this release: It's one of those that Brunswick released on the 70000 series instead of using the stock catalog number, and in this case it has the same song on both sides. Note: This beautiful promo 45 comes in a vintage Brunswick Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels with some light ringwear. The audio for the portion I tested sounds pristine Mint, despite a vinyl surface that grades only EX to reflect some scuffing.
