Streets of Philadelphia/ If I Should Fall Behind

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original Columbia factory sleeve. Dave Marsh included this single in his 1999 addendum to the original list of 1001 greatest singles published in 1989. I particularly like the anthemic B side, which is a non-album cut not available on any U.S. LP (it was released on vinyl in Europe and much lagter in the U.S.). The A side is also a non-album cut — that is, it's not on any Springsteen LP but rather appeared on the soundtrack to the movie "Philadelphia" starring Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington. The song won a grammy for Best Song.
