Angie/ Silver Train

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original Atlantic/Atco factory sleeve. I always love re-stocking "Angie"... it's one of my personal favorite Rolling Stones tracks. The piano part alone -- one of the most gorgeous in rock history -- is worth the price of admission, with Nicky Hopkins at the peak of his form. But the whole thing is just sublime, and Jagger gives one of his most sensitive, emotional vocals ever. This is a very rare pressing that shows "Angie" as "Side Two" on the label and "Silver Train" as "Side One" ... both in Stereo. Note: This copy is one of only a handful I've ever had with audio good enough to grade Mint... a real treat!
