Bus Stop/ Don't Run And Hide

This was The Hollies first U.S. Top 10 hit. Odd as it may seem, this is the first original pressing of this classic recording I've had in the shop. Go figure! This is definitely one of the most desirable tunes in The Hollies' catalog. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Imperial Records factory sleeve. It grades very close to Mint in all respects (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).

As an interesting point of trivia, this important British band — like The Who — failed to make a splash on this side of the Atlantic in The Beatles' wake. While "Bus Stop" was the group's first U.S. Top 10 hit, they had already scored 11 Top 40 hits in the U.K., eight of which reached the U.K. Top 10! Here, only one of their previous singles — "Look Through Any Window" had cracked the U.S. Top 40.
