This was Wonder's third single release, and the last under the name "Little Stevie Wonder." To hear a startling echo of Michael Jackson from 1964, take a listen to the terrific B side. I suspect it was recorded when Wonder was more "Little" than when he sang the A side, where his voice clearly shows evidence of his passage into puberty.
