Double Lovin'/ I'd Rather Go Blind

Two fantastic soul rarities from the Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The A side is the original of the irresistible dancer that The Osmonds brought to light a year later. On the flip, you can hear the version of this deep soul classic that undoubtedly inspired Rod Stewart's on his 1972 album, Never A Dull Moment. By the way, this was a non-album single, as the singer made no albums in this period. Note: The A side label has a stain on it (see scan), but the B side label is totally clean.
