This rare Archie Bell tune was actually released as the B side of the original U.S. single, but even then managed to bubble under the pop charts while the A side flopped totally (though it did chart in the black market). Once the B side started getting more airplay, Atlantic released this promo copy, with a Stereo version on one side and Mono on the other. Though the U.K. was slow to succumb to the charms of this great Texas singer and his Drells, when they did, they made this tune Bell's first U.K. hit... and a pretty big one at that, reaching #11 on the U.K. charts. With that, the tune became the biggest Archie Bell single in the Northern Soul scene and helped define the Gamble-Huff Philly sound for British listeners.
