Little Bitty Pretty One/ If I Have To Move A Mountain

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original factory sleeve. Just the month before this was released, Michael Jackson came out with his cover of Bobby Day's 1958 hit "Rockin' Robin"... and then the whole group covered Day's "Little Bitty Pretty One", which had been a monster hit for Thurston Harris in 1957. Someone in the band was really fond of Bobby Day's songwriting, and saw a connection with that late 1950's RnB vocal group sound, too! The sound certainly did fit the Jacksons like a glove… Note: The label has some minor ringwear.
