This is the original 1969 release, clocking in at an abbreviated 3:26. It was produced by the same guy who went on to produce Elton John's first album the next year, and the string arrangements are by Paul Buckmaster, who was responsible for the very distinctive arrangements on Elton's first few albums. Both sides are specially edited from longer album tracks of 5:13 and 4:46, respectively. Note: This copy has a drillhole and comes in a vintage Mercury Records factory sleeve. The labels have a light touch of ringwear, falling in the Near Mint category. The A side audio sounds pristine Mint!
